Assessment methodology
Every client is administered the same standardized five-test oculomotor battery. Sessions are video-recorded, results are scored against published clinical norms, and each report carries peer-reviewed citations for the measures used. Findings are numbers, not impressions, which is what makes them reviewable by an opposing expert.

Credentials
Dr. Rizwan Jaffer, O.D. — Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Texas License #7014TG. Clients are seen at six Houston-area locations, with the primary office at 345 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
Engagement
Expert services are retainer-based. Clinical assessments are available under a Letter of Protection — your case manager or paralegal can submit a client through the LOP referral form. Firms receive a secure portal for case tracking and document delivery, and a redacted sample report is available on request.
Underlying clinical basis
The symptom presentations most often at issue are set out in plain language on vision problems after a car accident, vision problems after a concussion, and post-accident evaluation in Houston. Same-week appointments are available for clients.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a vision expert witness do?
Documents measured visual function, explains how each finding compares to published clinical norms, and — where retained — reviews records, issues written opinions, and testifies at deposition and trial.
What is oculomotor testing?
Standardized measurement of how the eyes track, jump between targets, hold fixation, converge at near, and shift focus between near and far. It is distinct from acuity and eye health testing, which is why a normal exam does not rule these deficits out.
